Leon: The King of Lip Synching

I’ve often thought that at some time or another every significant African American would be portrayed in the movies by Denzel Washington, but if your budget is a little smaller and your chronicling a famous Rock and Roller, Leon is your go to guy. He’s played Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, and David Ruffin. He was also a member of the Five Heartbeats.

I guess it’s not surprising that his breakout role was the Black Jesus in Madonna’s Like a Prayer video.

Can someone raise some cash, give him a call and get a Sly Stone movie off the ground. I’d pay to see that.

Crazy Horse (Lakota: T?ašú?ke Witkó (in Standard Lakota Orthography), literally “His-Horse-is-Crazy”)[1] (ca. 1840 – September 5, 1877) was a respected war leader of the Oglala Lakota, who fought against the U.S. federal government in an effort to preserve the traditions and values of the Lakota way of life.

He is most generally known for his participation in the Battle of the Little Bighorn in June, 1876.

Well, that and his huge chain of strip joints.
