Bob Dylan: It is not an old peoples’ world. It is not an old peoples’ world. It has nothing to do with old people. Old people when their hair grows out, they should go out. And I look down to see the people that are governing me and making my rules – and they haven’t got any hair on their head – I get very uptight about it.
I’m a little tired of hearing about how John McCain should be president because he voluntarily endured tons of torture in Viet Nam. I respect him for that, but is that really a qualification to run a country? Make me go to bed without any dinner a couple nights in a row and I bet you that I’ll be incapable of running my checking account.
I’m not saying that it doesn’t bespeak a lot of determination, vigor and bravery, but for me one meeting with Jerry Falwell was enough to erase all of that. Yes, it’s true. McCain is the one with the real preacher issues.
