These teen baseballers are getting a lot of heat after the catcher and pitcher plotted to bean their umpire. When I coached Little League, I always told my kids to be classy. Just because they spit in their palms before shaking your hand doesn’t mean you should do it to them too. You’re better than that.

But I was also 17 once and the only thing I find shocking about this is that it hasn’t happened before this. In fact, I’d bet anything that it was first done by a team with John McGraw playing or managing.
