The Advertising Arms Race

Essentially, advertising is nothing more than trying to convince the public that one thing is better than another thing that is essentially the exact same thing. Coke/Pepsi McDonald’s/Burger King.There isn’t a single person in their right mind that would throw a fit over having to choose one or the other, yet in the meantime, the more one side spends, the more the other has to spend in response.

Oh, and the people who do have a rabid preference for one or the other? Those people are as scary as Charles Manson’s brainwashed minions ever were.
