There’s a third option: believing in a God who cannot or will not alter the course of events. The world is his Bravo reality series. All he can do is watch and complain about it on his blog.
Believing in no God makes it easier to accept things like the Holocaust, famine, tsunami’s, Dane Cook, etc.
But a vengeful God makes it easier to understand things like the Holocause, famine, tsunami’s, Dane Cook, etc.
I’m gonna go with no God. I don’t want to live in a reality where Dane Cook is used a tool for evil. (Anymore than he already is.)
