I cringe when I hear people say he’s the best player in baseball history. Tonight against the Indians with the score tied 1-1 in the top of the 9th inning, 2 out and a man on second base, Eric Wedge decided to pitch to him with first base open. I don’t care how many home runs he hits or what his stats look like, that’s not indicative of a great player. By the way, A Rod struck out.
