I’m Dave Davies’ Hero!

I emailed my essay The Revenge of Dave Davies to Dave on his web site and less than an hour later I got this awesome response.

Thanks that’s really great/that makes my day. you are my hero Keith.

To say the least I’m gushing right now.

Note: My punk name is Keith Crime, but it’s a crime to have a msn email account with “crime” in it so my email address is keithfelony@msn.com, which is odd because littering is a crime. Microsoft thinks murder is less of a big deal than littering, but thus Dave getting my name wrong.

Later, I wrote for a website with Al Kooper and he sent me an email thanking me for reviewing his hilarious book and noted that I wasn’t his hero but thanking me and telling me he’d end my life if I told anyone about his thank you. Please don’t let him know I talked. Dude has a serious sense of humor but he may have meant it.
