
Bob Dylan special currently on PBS, which of course means they are once again asking for money. I intend to point this out every time that it happens, which is of course every time they have a pledge drive.
Here’s a choice quote “You can tell from the past hour that PBS really isn’t just for your parents anymore.”
Clearly I love me some Bob as much, maybe more than the next guy, but can someone point out to this tool that playing 45 year old clips from the Newport Folk Festival to prove how young and vital PBS is makes about as much sense as an impromptu speech by George W. Bush back in his cocaine days.
When I see some home videos of Amy Winehouse OD’ing – that’s when I pull out my checkbook for this tried and true facile gimmick
